About the same time I read a LJ entry about the thirty-sixth anniversary of the lunar landing (from ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=92.2) filkertom), another friend of mine e-mailed me a link to Google's map of the moon. In addition to pointing out the precise locations where astronauts walked the surface, it also reveals a GREAT detail about the lunar surface when you "zoom" all the way in. (But we all knew about this anyway from childhood...) :-) |
